To teach a man who has started ignoring you a lesson, don’t beg him: do these two things.

When someone who was showing interest suddenly starts responding less, avoids conversations, or seems emotionally distant, it’s easy to get caught in a cycle of self-doubt: What did I do wrong? Did they lose interest? Should I write to them again?

However, from a psychological perspective, increasing the number of messages, repeatedly asking for explanations, or trying to regain their attention at any cost can increase emotional anxiety and create an unbalanced dynamic…@@@

The solution isn’t revenge or manipulative tactics. There are two much healthier options that allow you to regain control of the situation and, at the same time, discover if there’s genuine interest and reciprocity.

1. Stop chasing answers and observe reciprocity

If you’ve already tried to communicate and the other person continues to act distant, indefinitely persisting rarely provides the reassurance you seek.

The best thing to do is to reduce the pursuit and observe what happens when you stop being the one who constantly maintains contact.

A balanced relationship needs reciprocity: both people should show interest, initiate conversations and dedicate time to the bond, because when only one person makes that effort it ends up affecting self-esteem and increasing uncertainty.

In this case, distance is useful for obtaining information if you stop writing to him; does he also make an effort to maintain contact?

2. Regain your focus and reinvest it in yourself

The second decision is to prevent someone else’s behavior from determining your emotional state throughout the day
