Rama ironically with the images from the destroyed road in Portugal: The opposition there has not reported the affair to SPAK (VIDEO)

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted with ironic tones regarding the debates on infrastructure investments and the accusations of corruption, making comparisons with similar situations that have occurred in other European countries.

In his statement, Rama mentioned the case of Portugal, where according to him similar phenomena have occurred, ironizing the fact that, according to him, the Albanian opposition and critical media have not reacted in the same way.

“It is a great surprise, in Portugal this has happened due to the same phenomena… but how is it possible that the opposition here has not yet denounced this act of corruption in SPAK?”, Rama said, using irony also towards the media debate and analysts.

The head of government continued with sarcastic tones, commenting on the way corruption topics are treated in public discourse and alluding that accusations are often raised without concrete facts.

Rama's statement is expected to bring reactions from the opposition and other political actors, while the debate on infrastructure projects and their transparency continues to remain one of the main topics of public discussion.
