A routine day in suburban Maryland turned into a major emergency when a public transit bus crashed into several vehicles before slamming into a building in Pikesville, just outside Baltimore. The collision left more than 30 people injured, prompted a large emergency response, and temporarily shut down nearby roads as rescue crews worked to assist victims.
Authorities are continuing to investigate what caused the devastating crash.
Bus Crash Triggers Major Emergency Response
The accident occurred on Reisterstown Road in Pikesville, Maryland, involving a Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus.
According to local officials, the bus collided with multiple civilian vehicles before crashing into a nearby building. The force of the impact caused extensive damage, leaving emergency responders with a complex rescue operation.
Firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical teams quickly arrived at the scene after reports of numerous injuries.

Officials confirmed that more than 30 people suffered injuries during the incident.
Emergency responders treated victims at the scene before transporting many to nearby hospitals. Authorities said:

- One person became trapped inside the bus.
