Tensions rise in Tirana as 7-year-old boy falls from taxi, dragging his body to the ground

 

The dynamics of the tragic accident in the Treshi area of ​​Tirana, where a 7-year-old lost his life, have been revealed.

According to the footage from the cameras, Tomorr Shukulli gave some coins to the 7-year-old, which fell to the ground. The minor went out in front of the car to get them and there the light turned green and it hit him.

The fatal blow was dealt by the second car from behind, where the child ended up under the wheels. The 55-year-old stopped the car immediately after hearing people on the road screaming, while 42-year-old Valentina Koltraku continued on the road and drove away.

Shukulli took the child to the Trauma Hospital, while initially stating that he had not hit him. According to him, he heard people screaming and when he got out he saw the child in an accident, and took him to the hospital, but not that he was the first to hit him.

The SUV that is first near the traffic light was driven by Shukulli, while the car behind him is driven by Koltraku. Investigations are ongoing to identify the driver of the car that fled and to clarify legal responsibilities. According to preliminary data, the child is suspected of being begging at the time of the accident.
